About Dr. Genise Kennedy, DPM

Genise Kennedy, DPMA native Texan, Dr. Kennedy was born and raised in Garland, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2010 from the University of Texas at Dallas while working as a medical scribe in the emergency room.

After graduating from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2021, Dr. Kennedy then completed a 3-year surgical residency in forefoot and rearfoot surgery at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. Under the guidance of her residency director Dr. Guido LaPorta, she trained in an array of surgical procedures on the foot and ankle including limb deformity and reconstruction.

Dr. Kennedy is proud to return home after completing her extensive training to use her skills and expertise to care for patients. She is dedicated to providing thorough care with integrity and respect. She is committed to using effective treatments and staying current with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Kennedy likes to spend time with her family, friends, and two cats. She is an avid dancer in Argentine Tango, Salsa and other social dances.
